Mobster Names

Mobster names have intrigued people for decades. There is a stereotype of mobsters that they are primarily of Italian descent and have names like Joe, Jack, Nick, Frank, Lou, Tony, Vinnie or some variation.

As you can see by the charts below the famous stereotype of these mobster names do have some merit. But, though many a gangster has a predictable name and heritage, I didn't want to limit this page to just this.

Below you will find real mobster names and nicknames along with future mobster names and famous nicknames that should be given at some point in time. Also I've listed bad mobster names that under no circumstances should ever be given to a self-respecting mafia-type. Enjoy the lists.

As you can see, mobster names tell the tale of the good, the bad and the ugly (and hopefully with humor). The mafia of old are a dying breed because of current law enforcement and other factors. But, let us pay homage to the mobster names of old and the ones that should never be spoken. Also, remember that if you like the information on this page, share it with a friend. If you don't, who knows, you may just end up swimming with the fishes.
